Qualcomm vs MediaTek, Which one is Better?

Guys I hope most of you even don't know of the processor in a smartphone. Everyone worries of ram, internal storage, primary and secondary camera, connectivity, etc.

In fact while making online purchase of smartphone also we only focus on ram, internal storage, camera, connectivity, Android version, etc. But no one looks for a good processor. Everyone feels that having a latest version of Android makes your phone run smoother and faster, but this is not true. And the best example that I can give is with Lenovo. Now we come back to our question which processor is better?

Guys in every aspect I found that Qualcomm is best if your smartphone price ranges from ₹10,000 or ₹13,000. Guys Qualcomm has a very nice R&D as compared to MediaTek. Guys you have seen the launch of Redmi Note 5 and Pro which has recently launched. In this range of smartphone Xiaomi has used a Snapdragon processor which is 636 for Redmi Note 5 Pro.

The minimum grade processor that the Qualcomm can make is the highest grade that the MediaTek can make. In every new version of Qualcomm you will find some new features and improvements, but in MediaTek, they releases new processor but without any significant change/improvements. Guys you would have heard about Micromax, Yuphoria and many other smartphone companies which uses MediaTek processor. And the main problem in theses smartphones is that they get heated while charging or while normal usage. Infact the phone lags a lot.

So I will prefer you to go with a Qualcomm processor if you can spend a minimum of ₹10,000. But if at maximum you can spend ₹10,000 then go with a MediaTek processor smartphone.
