e-Sim, Smaller than Nano Sim

Hi Guys! In this post I am going to tell you about e-Sim which might be used in Apple Watch Series 3 (confirmed). Earlier it was expected that e-Sim would be there in Google Pixel 2, but they used traditional Nano Sim. Now, we will be talking about What's e-Sim, How it will Work? Merits and Demerits.

e-Sim

Guys earlier the Sim types were available as Sim, Mini Sim, Micro Sim and Nano Sim in the form of hardware. But now a new technology is coming named as e-Sim which will be inbuilt in the devices.

How it will Work?

Guys earlier to switch to other telecom network we had to remove the Sim and insert the new one. But now in the e-Sim we will be provided with a Username & Password from the telecom company which will simply authenticate us to their network.

Merits

• No headache of carrying different-different Sim cards.
• Connectivity and Network Quality will be more better.
• Will occupy lesser size.

Demerits

• Hard to remember Username & Password.
• Any damage to e-Sim will cost more.
